Creativity

That Excites

One thing I pride myself on throughout my career journey is my creativity. I've always gravitated towards creative design, often taking on personal projects and side ventures to support local communities and non-profit organizations. Whether it's designing promotional materials, crafting branding elements, or developing marketing strategies, I find fulfillment in using my skills to make a positive impact. These experiences have not only allowed me to explore my passion for design but also strengthened my ability to think outside the box and deliver innovative solutions that benefit others.

Past Freelance Work

The choice to be a creative product designer was inspired by my yearning to help my community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to challenge myself through unconventional experiences that made me grow as a desginer.

Notable Creative Contributions

Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority Inc.

As a member, and later a national board leader, of Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority Inc. (ASR), I contributed to daily operations, planning, and external outreach. However, my favorite role was serving as Director of Creative Design, where I had the opportunity to develop not only fundraising and marketing programs for the organization but also design a variety of merchandise that fostered unity among sisters at the collegiate and national levels

Không Nói Không Biết

Không Nói Không Biết (KNKB), translated to 'if you don’t speak, you won’t know,' emerged during the height of the political turmoil to combat against the spread of misinformation. Partnering with The Interpreter, KNKB aimed to engage the Vietnamese community in political, social, and economic discussions. As a producer and co-host of the bi-weekly Sunday debate, I was responsible for graphic design, video + podcast production, and marketing efforts to promote fact-based dialogue within our community.

E-Commerce Ventures

In 2020, as COVID-19 spread and the world shut down, I launched an Etsy store selling print-on-demand (POD) anime-inspired mugs. The store exceeded my expectations, reaching around 400 sales. I gained valuable experience in e-commerce, marketing, and design through this journey. However, after learning more about ethical business practices, I paused the store to ensure my designs were both original and sustainable, focusing on creating a product worthy of being sold from a small business owner.
